You know I had been thinking of finding a welcoming church and the episcopal church seem like it be the best choice so I e-mailed one in the area and instead of answers I get why don't you come in to get your questions answered. I plan to e-mail him back and say I really need the first question about the gay issue answered first so if I did visit I would know what I am walking into. Call me crazy but I don't want to blindly walk in and get hit with the you are dammed your going straight to hell routine cause if that is the case I wouldn't show up there.

I hope you find one that is suitable for you. I don't go to church myself but I heard that there are lots of gay-friendly churches in NC. Good luck!
